We love our ladies.

Andrew and I are a couple of the luckiest guys that I know, because Stacey and Gretchen are two of the most amazing people in the world. There is probably nothing that either of them couldn’t accomplish if they wanted to. But somehow, they have decided to immeasurably improve the lives of two loudmouth dorks.

Of course, they do hide a terrible addiction to cheesy sitcoms about four old ladies living together in their “golden” years. But we don’t hold it against them. After all, I watch Nascar and Andrew likes that ‘Wild On’ show from the E channel.

St Present lives on in our hearts.
Posted on 12.26.05 by Josh Root @ 1:35 am

Maybe I’m a cheesy retard in my old age, but I enjoy being with my family during the holidays. We had a wonderful time with stockings, presents, stories, insults, compliments, a trip to the movies, and an excellent dinner.

In fact, if you want to see what it’s like to stand in the middle of our holiday dinner table, just click HERE.

Isn’t that amazing? It’s like you are part of the BrothersRoot St. Presents Day Posse!

B.C.

..ummm, did i miss when B.C. went from a Christianity based, wholesome comic about cavemen coexisting with their talking animals to an oddly drawn, headband wearing, moustache-having, doobie-fest?

well then,
another sunday is upon us. i was a little dissapointed from the lack of remarks with the sufjan/arcade songs. where is the indie rock love kiddies? wtf?

anywho, here are today’s videos. jerks.

1) Stars - Your Ex-Lover is Dead

2) The Dears - Lost In The Plot

3) Beck - Girl

…and speaking of music, i’d like to take this year-end forum opportunity to further promote the music i listen to by publishing my “best of 2005″ album list. …this idea was originally started by myke on the blakesucks forum. but my list is sooooo good, i just had to bring it here. so without further ado:

1. Andrew Bird - Mysterious Production of Eggs
2. Sufjan Stevens - Illinois
3. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - Self Titled
4. Wolf Parade - Apologies to the Queen Mary
5. Arcade Fire - Self Titled EP
6. Broken Social Scene - Self Titled
7. TIE: Final Fantasy - Has A Good Home & Stars - Set Yourself on Fire
8. The Go! Team - Thunder Lightning Strike
9. Kanye West - Late Registration
10. TIE: The Game - The Documentary & Spoon - Gimmie Fiction

special mentions to: Iron & Wine - Woman King EP; Fiona Apple - Extraordinary Machine; Bright Eyes - Wide Awake It’s Morning; Slim Thug - Already Platinum; Menomena - Under an Hour; Bell Orchestra - Recording a Tape;

…so there ya go. all the music that’s fit to rock your socks.
