Griffen went to the doctor the other day for a broken nail. He came back with a pile of bad news:

-Broken nail had to be removed.
-Infection where the nail was, his bandage has to be changed every day (which he hates)
-Continued infection in his gums, more antibiotics.
-Impacted anal gland had to be expressed and injected with some sort of “cleaning” solution.

He’s really, really unhappy about the whole thing. His paw can’t get wet, he is limping all over, his butt is probably sore, stacey has to put this “sugar wrap” on his foot every morning (sugar stops infection), and the damn baby STILL won’t leave.

We love you buddy. I’ll get you a big old bone to chew on during your recovery. But hey, could you be a little more careful with your nails? We’ve done this before, remember?
